Dominique Browning on Our Aging Oil Infrastructure

Image: here

While we still don't know the full extent of impact from the Deepwater Horizon disaster, Dominique Browning, former Editor-in-Chief of the much missed publication House & Garden, spells out the additional disasters waiting to happen in the Mississippi delta/Gulf of Mexico region in her blog hosted by the Environmental Defense Fund. She also provides a link to send a letter to the White House and Congress. Go, read, write.

  1. Thank you for this. I too was born on the gulf coast and it breaks my heart. I get sick to my stomach when I think how it may never be the same.

  2. J-

This is world news...and so shameful and tragic to see oil slicked birds.

Thanks for your great comment on JEAN-PAUL BELMONDO (who lives now in the South of France, I believe...with super-tan, supersmile and lots of admirers. Jean Seberg...sadly lives on in her films and at the cemetery of Monparnasse...where her grave is always covered in flowers and notes...amazing all this time later.
    cheers, DIANE

  3. James... pop in at my blog and join my give away this week!

  4. This is just so sad you must all be very angry. If its any consolation it may mean the end of BP but I guess it should never have happened in the first place and if it did it should have been managed much much better.
